Detailed introduction

Xin’anjiang ZJC/ZJP roots vacuum pump is a kind of volumetric vacuum pump keeping a pair of 8-shaped rotors, at a certain gap, rotating in reverse direction at identical speed within the pump shell to take in and exhaust air.

The best merit of ZJC/P roots vacuum pump is that it obtains a high air suction rate when the inlet pressure is low. However, the pump can't work alone and requires a backing vacuum pump connected in series. It starts working only when the pressure of the system pumped by the backing vacuum pump matches the allowed inlet pressure of roots vacuum pump. Besides, the roots vacuum pump shall not work under high differential pressure generally, or it will be damaged due to overload and overheating, so an appropriate backing pump shall be selected for the roots vacuum pump. A protective device is required. Please note that, after the roots vacuum pump is anticorrosion treated, the backing pump, if a water jet vacuum pump or anticorrosion water-ring vacuum pump, could pump out heavy steam contained caustic gas.

Note:
① The air pumping rate refers to the max. air pumping rate measured when the pressure intensity at the inlet of roots vacuum pump is between 6650Pa—2.66Pa and the recommended backing pump is used.
② The ultimate pressure refers to the lower value of stable partial air pressure measured, with a compression vacuum gauge, at the pump inlet when the pump works in conjunction with the recommended backing pump but without any additional vessel, with pump inlet sealed and fully exhausted.
③ The performances in the table are only available when the recommended backing pump is used. User may choose the backing pumps according to different working conditions, however, main performance indices if which vary therewith.
④ With respect to the characteristics of the pump and different working conditions, the company may, based on the customers' requirements on performance of vacuum unit and on the working conditions, design machine units of all types to support the pump.
